Warriors Get Critical Steph Curry Update After One Missed Game…TS.DHUNG.

On Friday night, it was made clear the Golden State Warriors’ ceiling relies plenty on Stephen Curry’s availability.

The club hit the road for a matchup against the Atlanta Hawks — the first of many games before returning to the Bay Area — which was a 124-115 loss.

The need for the superstar guard is there, no matter how much the team improved with Jimmy Butler’s arrival at the trade deadline.

He didn’t make the trip, though, as he suffered a pelvic injury in the game prior. While it wasn’t a long-term injury, he had to miss the first game of the road trip.

Draymond Green was quite upset after the loss, too.

“Bad loss. It’s a terrible loss. Eleven games left with everything to play for, you shouldn’t have a loss like this,” Green said.

However, help could be on the way in the near future, as Golden State’s next contest is Butler’s return to South Beach as they take on the Miami Heat.

While the star forward claimed he enjoyed his time with the club, his exit was quite sour as his relationship with the management had crumbled.

Warriors get critical Curry update before Heat game

As Butler looks to show the Heat who will get the last laugh, the Warriors are also looking to return to form. A return from Curry would make that much easier.

On Sunday, ESPN’s Shams Charania provided an update on the superstar guard’s status.

“Stephen Curry is traveling to join the Warriors in Miami, and his status for Tuesday’s game against the Heat depends on treatment response for his pelvic bruise over next two days,” Charania reported. “Golden State is on game two of a six-game trip.”

While Curry might not play in Miami, his joining the team for the remainder of the trip is a good sign that he will be back on the hardwood before too long.
