Carlos Alcaraz has been entertaining the tennis world with his game but this time, he made his fans laugh with his innocence upon being asked a question about his future wife. Alcaraz recently met internet sensation Daniel Fernandez who asked the youngster several questions about his future.

Alcaraz turned pro in 2018 and won his first Grand Slam title in the 2022 US Open, at the age of 19. He has already etched his name in record books several times with four Majors and is being called a great of the game and he is just 21!

During the interaction with Fernandez, Alcaraz was asked about his retirement plans and the youngster said that he would probably call time on his career in 2037. Upon being asked the reason, he said great players play for a long time so he would want to ‘reach the peak and be 35 and still fighting’.

But in which tournament he would retire? It’s Wimbledon, where he has bagged two back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024 by beating Novak Djokovic in both finals. After the retirement plans, Fernandez asked him to imagine that he would become the greatest tennis player during his final match at the 2037 Wimbledon, he would look toward the stands to see his wife and kids (Alcaraz said he would have three kids).

But who would be Alcaraz’s wife? When he was asked the question, a befuddled Alcaraz smiled from ear to ear and thought the name, which seemed for a long time.

Carlos Alcaraz‘s next goal is to complete the Career Grand Slam. He has won one US Open, won twice at Wimbledon, and became the youngest player to win on all surfaces when he lifted the French Open. The Grand Slam trophy he is yet to win is the Australian Open which he wants to take home next year.
