Veteran wide receiver Kendrick Bourne was excited by the New England Patriots’ signing of four-time Pro Bowl wideout Stefon Diggs on Tuesday. He reacted to the news on social media with three words.

“This dumbbbb littttt!!!,” Bourne posted in an Instagram story.

Bourne is one of the veteran faces on the Patriots’ roster, and he is clearly looking forward to teaming up with Diggs in New England. The Patriots have struggled to find consistent production at the wide receiver position, and Diggs has proven himself over the years to be one of the NFL’s best at creating separation.

It’s a significant upgrade for the Patriots that could make life easier for the other receivers, including Bourne.

All eyes will be on the Patriots’ offense to see how everything fits next season.

At the very least, the team added another proven playmaker to catch passes from second-year quarterback Drake Maye. There are no certainties on what the end result will be, but it’s clear the Patriots will look completely different from the team we saw in 2024.
