The Buffalo Bills need more playmaking at the wide receiver position. Josh Allen should be supported as much as possible and so far this offseason the front office has done nothing to improve the weapons around him.

Joshua Palmer was added in free agency, but his job will be to replace Mack Hollins. Of course, Hollins, who was a key piece of the Bills’ offense in 2024, signed with the AFC East division rival New England Patriots in free agency.

In order for the offense to take the next step, Buffalo still has work to do.

With that in mind, the Bills are now being connected to another intriguing wide receiver. He would bring elite speed to the equation and would give Allen a potential home run threat.

According to a report from ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, Buffalo is among the list of teams set to meet with Texas Longhorns’ wide receiver Isaiah Bond in the near future.

Bond would be a very intriguing addition to the Bills’ offense. At the NFL combine, he ran a 4.39 40-yard dash. He was targeting a better time, but that is still excellent speed.

During the 2024 college season at Texas, Bond did not put up the numbers expected from him. He caught 34 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns.

Despite the lower production than anticipated, Bond has elite playmaking ability. Bond can stretch the field by going deep and blowing past defenders, or he can be lethal in the catch-and-run game.

To add another wrinkle to the offense for Allen, Buffalo could bring him in and use him multiple different ways.

Bleacher Report currently has him compared to a player with “shades of Jaylen Waddle” and are projecting him to be a third round pick.
