Josh Allen is having the time of his life. On one hand, his Buffalo Bills are riding a wave of confidence as they are playing elite football. On the other hand, the superstar quarterback has just confirmed his intentions to marry Hollywood star Hailee Steinfeld.
The 28-year-old had been developing his relationship with ‘Pitch Perfect’ star since 2023. They were spotted together a lot of times as fans began to get to grips with their relationship. For the superstar quarterback to be dating one of the best young stars of Hollywood ensured they were part of a lot of media coverage.
However, they kept their feet on the ground and managed their relationship like a normal couple. Now, more than a year into the relationship, Allen decided to go down on his knee. In what would seem like the perfect situation after dating for a decently long time, Allen was quoted by US Weekly as mentioning this.
This response from Allen was to her question on her Beau Society newsletter. She wanted to know how he planned on proposing to her during the Buffalo Bills bye week. Especially since a while ago Hailee Steinfeld suggested they should tie the knot. But at the time, Josh Allen asked for more time.
At that time, Josh Allen was preparing for the big surprise to officially ask for her hand. What probably made the engagement sweeter was that he just orchestrated a famous win for his Buffalo Bills over perennial rival Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
But the buck does not stop there for the men in blue and white. Analysts labeled them as the underdogs heading into this season. They continued to use that tag to overcome many teams to a stellar 10-2 record. Part of that record is also the fact that the Buffalo Bills are now touted as favorites to contend for the Super Bowl.
If the 28-year-old quarterback can continue to lead his team to wins, come February, they could have the best trophy of them all in his hands. It could be the best way to finish this underdog season, as well as be the perfect wedding gift for the soon to be Allen’s.
