BREAKING: Justin Tucker investigation leads the Baltimore Ravens to do something they have never done in franchise history.THANHDUNG

For the first time in the history of its franchise, Baltimore has drafted a kicker.

With the 186th pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Ravens selected Tyler Loop out of Arizona.

This comes amid the NFL’s investigation of Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, who has been accused of inappropriate sexual behavior by 16 different massage therapists. General manager Eric DeCosta responded to numerous questions about Tucker during the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine back in February.

“The allegations are serious, concerning. The amount of allegations are serious and concerning,” DeCosta said. “I think we’re fortunate that the league is doing an investigation. We’ll wait as patiently as we can for as much information as we can and make our decisions based on that.”

The NFL also released a statement when the initial allegations were made.

“We first became aware of the allegations from the reporter investigating this story as they were not previously shared with the NFL,” NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said via ESPN. “We take any allegation seriously and will look into the matter.”

Now that the Ravens have selected Loop, it could signal the end of Tucker in Baltimore. Tucker is still under contract with the Ravens, with three years remaining on his deal. Tucker is an eight-time All-Pro, seven-time Pro Bowler, and owns the highest career field goal percentage in NFL history.

As for Loop, he was arguably the best kicker in this year’s draft class – although he was the second one taken following the New England Patriots’ selection of Andres Borregales. Loop has a very strong leg, owning the Arizona school record for longest field goal ever made at 62 yards. His 83.8 percent of FGs made is also a school record.
