Former Green Bay Packers player and coach Chris Gizzi has sold his Green Bay residence at 139 Garden Gate Court for $1.5 million. Gizzi originally purchased the property for $542,000 in October 2020 and had previously sold his former home at 3400 Concerto Lane, located in the Lake Largo subdivision, for $455,500 in January 2021.
The expansive 7,048-square-foot home features five bedrooms and 4½ bathrooms, including a Kohler Design Showcase Bath, and is situated on a 0.48-acre plot in northwest Green Bay, close to the Oneida Golf Club and Green Bay Botanical Garden. The exquisitely decorated house also includes a secondary kitchen, a home theater, a jetted tub, sauna, vaulted ceilings, a wet bar, a walk-out basement, three electric built-in fireplaces, and a garage accommodating three vehicles.
Gizzi played 23 games as a linebacker for the Packers during the 2000-01 season, achieving the fifth-highest rank on the team with eight special teams tackles in 2000. He gained national prominence by leading the team onto Lambeau Field with an American flag during the “Monday Night Football” game on September 24, 2001, marking the Packers’ first game after the September 11 attacks in New York and Washington, D.C.
A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and a U.S. Air Force Reserve member, Gizzi rejoined the Packers in 2014 as a strength and conditioning assistant and was promoted to coordinator in 2019. The Packers revamped their strength and conditioning staff after the 2023 season.
Meanwhile, 1750 Limestone Trail in Ledgeview, owned by former Packers running back Ahman Green, is currently on the market. The home, featuring five bedrooms, 4½ bathrooms, and a four-car garage, sits on 1.21 acres and is listed at $1.25 million, reduced from its initial $1.9 million price two years ago. Green also sold a nearby studio house at 1742 Limestone Trail for $480,000 in July 2023. Retired from football, Green has entrusted Jen Kuo of Platinum Real Estate with the listing.
Additionally, 1071 Hill Drive in Hobart, belonging to former Packers defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, is up for sale. The property includes a main house and a guest house, totaling 14 bedrooms and 14½ bathrooms, and is listed at $3.988 million. Gbaja-Biamila, also retired from football, has Jen Kuo of Platinum Real Estate managing the listing.
