Green Bay Packers wideout Romeo Doubs has missed two-and-a-half games and a half with a concussion he suffered against the San Francisco 49ers, and he’s still not in the clear.

He was knocked out of the game against the 49ers on Nov. 24, which was just a few days before Thanksgiving. Speaking of, he missed Green Bay’s Thanksgiving matchup with the Miami Dolphins and then missed their “Thursday Night Football” clash with the Detroit Lions this past week.

Doubs is an integral part of head coach Matt LaFleur’s offense, and quarterback Jordan Love trusts him, so he has indeed been missed. The bad news for the Packers on Monday is that according to LaFleur, the third-year wideout has still not cleared concussion protocol.

The Packers next play the Seattle Seahawks in a massive “Sunday Night Football” clash, which gives Doubs roughly six days from the time of this writing to clear the protocol.

The fact that he hasn’t yet, though, is certainly a concern. The game against the Seahawks will be three weeks since the initial concussion.

He could always be cleared later this week and even be considered questionable right up until game time, so this is a development worth keeping an eye on.
