One of the things that have been missing in our posts is the interaction between young children and horses and I do believe that the video below is definitely something that you need to watch. The video is recorded in Belgium and simply looking in the location you will immediately realize that we are referring to Belgian Draft, as the breed originated and developed in the country and have been really important in the development of the country not only now but centuries ago as well.

It is true that you can find Belgian Drafts in a lot of countries as they have been exported worldwide due to the huge demand for it, however, the majority of the population is still in Belgium. Even when you visit the capital which is Brussels, you will most likely find a horse carriage in the streets if the city, just to make you all realize the huge impact that the breed has in the country.

The breed is amazing itself. A non-horsey person may think that they are dangerous but it is all the opposite, they are one of the calmest horse breeds that I have ever seen and at the same time, they are very friendly, especially with kids as you can tell from the video that you are about to watch.

These young kids are over-excited about the fact that they get to feed their young foal friend who is also one of the cutest baby horses that I have ever seen. Apparently, the beautiful mare has no problem with that, she is really grateful that these amazing kids are taking care of her beautiful baby child.

In the beginning, a young boy goes first and feeds the young foal with milk, then it is the girl’s turn to do the same and that’s what she does. It is definitely exciting watching young children spend time with animals because it gives me hope about the future, that they going to help by making our world a better place. I am very optimistic about all the positive changes that the future is going to bring. It is just a matter of time. Enjoy!
