BREAKING: With Emotion and Determination, Von Miller Begs to Stay with Bills: ‘I’ll Take a Pay Cut, I’ll Prove I’m Healthy — Just Give Me a Chance to Stay.

NFL star Von Miller, a two-time Super Bowl champion and one of the most feared pass rushers of his generation, is making headlines not for a sack or highlight reel play—but for a heartfelt plea that left fans stunned and teammates emotional.

In a candid and emotional moment during a press interview this week, Miller addressed the growing speculation that his time with the Buffalo Bills may be nearing an end. After an injury-plagued season and mounting pressure on the team’s salary cap, rumors have circulated that the Bills may consider parting ways with the 35-year-old linebacker.

But Miller made it clear—he’s not ready to go. Not yet.

“I’ll take a pay cut. I’ll prove I’m healthy. Just let me stay,” Miller said, his voice cracking. “This team means everything to me. I came here to win another ring, and I still believe we can do that. I’ve got unfinished business in Buffalo.”

Miller signed a six-year, $120 million contract with the Bills in 2022, bringing championship pedigree and veteran leadership to a hungry squad. While his first season showed flashes of the old Von—recording eight sacks before tearing his ACL on Thanksgiving Day—his return has been rocky, with limited playing time and questions about his durability.

Still, Miller insists he’s not done—and he’s willing to sacrifice to prove it.

“I know what people are saying. That I’m washed. That I’m too old. But I’ve been doubted before. And every time, I’ve come back stronger,” he said. “This city embraced me, and I want to repay that.”

Teammates have rallied around Miller, calling him the emotional anchor of the locker room. Bills defensive end Greg Rousseau said, “Von’s presence is way bigger than just stats. He lifts all of us.”

Whether the Bills’ front office will honor Miller’s emotional plea remains to be seen. With critical roster decisions looming and young talent waiting in the wings, Buffalo faces a tough call: make space for a fading star, or move on from a legend whose best years may be behind him.

But if heart, loyalty, and leadership count for anything in this league, Von Miller may have already made the most important play of his career.
