A Heartwarming Miracle: The Benevolent Woman’s Timely Rescue of 7 Precious Foals (Video).

Although it is great to have a positive perspective in the world and focus only on the beautiful things that our life offers, it would be really unrealistic to forget about the dark side of it and not speak loudly about the injustice and cruelty in the world right now. It is definitely hard to believe that people would be so cruel to the point that they simply don’t care about the lives of other humans or animals.

It happens and it is our moral responsibility to raise our voices about what is happening. What is even more shocking is the fact that such cruelty sometimes is even legal, like the one in the video below. Known as “Nurse Mare Foals” these adorable little babies are brought into the world simply so they can keep the milk flowing from their mothers.

Eventually, the mothers are shipped off to another baby horse that is considered more valuable. These baby horses are usually future racing horses, or other sport horses, while the innocent (now orphaned) babies are killed. And yes, this is all legal. I really can’t believe how something like this is allowed, it is one of the most horrible cruelties.

Every year, these beautiful baby horses are euthanized simply because their mothers have to be sent off to give milk to “more impressive” baby horses and with more impressive I mean racehorses, mainly thoroughbreds who are really expensive racehorses and can bring quite a lot of money. Yeah, as in most of the times, money comes first. However, this story has a happy ending for 7 beautiful baby foals.

Last Chance Corral is an amazing foundation that takes these horses and helps nurse them to live to an older age. Once the babies are strong enough, they can actually be adopted by people who would love them. The outrageous thing about all of this is that these horses are all perfectly healthy and friendly. I really wish that this soon becomes illegal because both poor mares and foals do not deserve to be treated in such a cruel way. Let’s hope for the best.
