The Detroit Lions’ offseason program was already buzzing with optimism, but head coach Dan Campbell just poured rocket fuel on the hype train — and it all came down to five stunning words about an unexpected rookie standout: Ahmed Hassanein.

Defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn added: “We’ll see if he holds up when the pads come on, but right now — he’s ahead of schedule, no question.”
