The dynamic duo of Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen spent four seasons attempting to make a Super Bowl run, but kept falling short of the ultimate goal. Earlier this year, Diggs left searching for greener pastures and found himself on the Houston Texans roster. The wide receiver was on track to another great season until he tore his ACL.

Despite ending his journey in Buffalo on a sour note, Stefon Diggs is not harboring any ill will toward Josh Allen. As the quarterback is having a phenomenal season and is the frontrunner to win the coveted MVP award, Diggs is actively vouching for him.

The wideout responded to a fan who asked him if Allen deserves to win the MVP this year. It is good to see that Diggs is not allowing the past to cloud his judgment.

After he departed from Buffalo, the wideout has been blamed for the team’s shortcomings. He infamously gained the tag of being a ‘diva’ for occasionally posting messages on social media hinting at being unhappy over the team’s struggles and taking indirect shots at Josh Allen.

The Bills’ quarterback has 3,033 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. He leads the NFL with a QBR of 76.8 in a year where there was skepticism on whether he would be able to succeed after losing a star receiver. Allen has proved the critics wrong. His odds to win the award sit at -400 with Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley right on his tail.

As the final weeks of the regular season approach, the Bills face the Lions, Patriots twice, and the Jets. If the quarterback can beat this red-hot Detroit squad, then it will go a long way in making his case for MVP. For the rest of the games, he is touted to continue the good play as the Patriots and Jets are subpar teams this year.

Stefon Diggs is currently recovering from his ACL injury. His recovery is right on schedule as updated by him on X. Before he went down, he was averaging 10.6 yards per reception. He will hope to come back stronger and better next year.
