REPORT: Lions Make Historic Amon-Ra St. Brown Announcement on ‘Sunday Night Football’.THANHDUNG

The Detroit Lions got off to a slow start offensively on “Sunday Night Football” against the Minnesota Vikings in one of the biggest regular-season matchups in franchise history. However, their defense was elite all night long, helping the team secure a crucial victory in Detroit, Michigan.

Both teams entered the game with 14-2 records, and the winner would not only claim the NFC North divisional title but also secure the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC, which comes with a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Lions entered halftime with a 10-6 lead, thanks to running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who scored the team’s lone touchdown in the first half. In the second half, Detroit exploded, with Gibbs adding three more touchdowns, tallying all four of Detroit’s touchdowns and extending the Lions’ lead to double-digits en route to a victory.

However, it wasn’t just Gibbs. Star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has been a key contributor all season and played a crucial role once again on Sunday night. After his sixth reception of the game, the Lions made an exciting announcement regarding St. Brown’s historic season.

St. Brown became the third player in NFL history to record 115 or more receptions and 10 or more receiving touchdowns in consecutive seasons.

Amon-Ra St. Brown has firmly established himself as one of the top wide receivers in the NFL over the past two to three seasons. With the Lions’ victory on Sunday night, they have clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC and will enjoy a bye next week, while the Vikings drop to the No. 5 seed and head to Los Angeles for a thrilling showdown against the Rams.

This accomplishment is well-deserved after a remarkable season for the Lions, who have been led by head coach Dan Campbell. Campbell has built a sustainable, winning culture in the Motor City, and now the Lions set their sights on the Super Bowl.
