BREAKING: Justin Fields Discusses NFL Future After Wishing for Steelers’ Return in 2025.THANHDUNG

The Pittsburgh team will match up with the Ravens in a wild-card round. What if the Steelers can’t manage to break their 4-game losing streak? Scary, right? The franchise might be scared too! The starting QB is also having some turnover troubles. But before Russell Wilson had to start the game, there was one promising man who was not losing hope- Justin Fields.

Fields, a backup quarterback for the Steelers, reflected on his season and how he played. The Steelers #QB2 said, “I showed what I showed.” That’s some confidence there. He continued, “I’m just getting better each and every day that’s what I’m focused on now.” Fields was clear about learning from past mistakes as well, as he said, “You pretty much do that every game so it’s really nothing different. We know what we have to do to get better starting faster. You know maintaining uh being great on third down uh two minute. Just executing in those.” That’s mark of a good player, learning from the past.

The 25-year-old Ohio State alumni had signed by the Chicago Bears for a $18,871,957 deal in 2021 for four years. But things went differently. His time with the Bears was full of ups and downs. Fields couldn’t reach the 51% snap mark and the Bears had no option but to trade him. But… he landed in Pittsburgh in March 2024 and his life has changed.

Fields started the first six games of the season with the Steelers and helped the team register four wins. His passing completion percentage for the Steelers is 65.8% with five touchdowns and 1 interception. Isn’t that great? The 25-year-old really has a bright future ahead. But wait. The former Bears quarterback has told the media which team is his favorite place for the upcoming season.

Justin Fields wants to start for the Steelers

Yeah, Fields told reporters where he wants to go for the 2025 season and that team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. “I want to be here. I’m kind of tired of learning a new offense every year. This will be my third in four years,” Fields said when talking to the media on Tuesday.

But for some reason, the starter turned backup quarterback had doubts about that possibility. On that note, he said, “Of course, I’d love to be back, but that’s all up to God at the end of the day. I’ll be where God wants me to be.” But who knows, he may get a chance to start for the Steelers. According to his stats, Fields has played well this season for the Steelers.

But Justin Fields needs to hold on as the most important game is on the way. The Steelers will go head-to-head with the Ravens and try to break the vicious streak and pull up a great shot to be in the Super Bowl.
