He’s ranked 35th in receiving yards in Detroit Lions history, playing for the franchise for the final four years of his career. Now he’s the new host of “Hollywood Squares.”

Hosted by Nate Burleson, the revival of the celebrity-filled classic game show debuts on CBS on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The game features two contestants playing tic-tac-toe with celebrity guests to win cash and prizes. You never know what answers the celebrities will give.

Burleson played for the Lions for four seasons from 2010-2013, catching 194 balls for 2,083 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Burleson is also co-host of “CBS Mornings” and an Emmy Award-winning studio analyst for “The NFL Today.”

He played for a total of 11 seasons in the NFL, also for the Vikings and Seahawks.

In 2024, Burleson was also an analyst for the first-ever alternate telecast of the Super Bowl, which aired exclusively on Nickelodeon.

“Hollywood Squares” will also star Drew Barrymore and feature celebrity guests each episode, including: Tyra Banks, Julie Bowen, Yvette Nicole Brown, Whitney Cummings, Tiffany Haddish, Oliver Hudson, Pete Holmes, Gabriel Iglesias, Jo Koy, Jay Leno, Justin Long, Kevin Nealon, RuPaul, Andrew Rannells, Kristen Schaal, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and more.
