Breaking: Chiefs’ Starter Receives Massive Punishment From NFL Just Before Playoffs (Report). TS.DHUNG.

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to become the first team in the Super Bowl era to win three consecutive Super Bowls.  They’ll be the first team since the 1960s Green Bay Packers to win three consecutive championships (1965-67).

However, one starter is facing a hefty punishment from the NFL just before the playoffs get started.

The NFL fined #Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy $14,069 for pretending to show a gun in his waistband during a TD celebration, per @TomPelissero pic.twitter.com/RBH7mcrhkg

Nearly $15,000 penalty for a celebration violation seems a little high.  Although the NFL has these rules in place and players are well aware of whats allowed and what’s not.  Here is a look at Worthy’s stats this season:
