BREAKING: Josh Allen Issues Apology After Bills-Broncos Playoff Game.THANHDUNG

Josh Allen continued his MVP-caliber season with another stellar performance in the Wild Card Round.

On Sunday afternoon, the Buffalo Bills were able to secure a fifth-straight trip to the Divisional Round following a 31-7 win over the Denver Broncos at Highmark Stadium.

Allen finished the game completing 20-of-26 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns while adding 46 yards on the ground. He was also able to pass Bills legend Jim Kelly for the most postseason passing touchdowns in franchise history with 21.

With just under 10 minutes remaining in the third quarter, Allen was watching the Buffalo defense from the sideline. CBS cameras showed official Bill Vinovich, who was calling the game, walk over to the quarterback as he was sitting on the bench. Vinovich shared a few words with Allen before patting him on the head and going back to the field.

After the win, Allen spoke during the Bills’ press conference. When asked about the interaction with Vinovich, Allen explained what was discussed before apologizing to the official.

“I wasn’t happy with what was going on,” Allen said. “I was yelling a little bit, and he just said, ‘Don’t be yelling.’ So, my bad. Sorry, Bill.”

Kelly’s record wasn’t the only history Allen made on Sunday. The former Wyoming Cowboys star also jumped from the No. 3 spot to No. 1 for the most postseason rushing yards by a quarterback.

Allen (609 career postseason rushing yards) passed Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (602) and San Francisco 49ers legend Steve Young (594). Jackson was able to initially break the record in his Wild Card game against the Steelers on Saturday.

With the win, Allen and the Bills will host Jackson and the Ravens in the Divisional Round for a spot in the AFC Championship Game. This may be the most intriguing matchup of the quarterfinals, with the top two MVP candidates going head-to-head.

Baltimore took the Week 4 matchup 35-10, but Allen is 1-0 against Jackson in the postseason. Still, it should be a good one.
