Von Miller Issues Strong Message After Bills Beatdown of Broncos.ANHTRUC.

The Buffalo Bills demolished the Denver Broncos in the wild-card round on Sunday, coasting to a 31-7 victory to advance to the divisional round. And after the game, star pass rusher Von Miller kept it real when discussing how the team handled this game with a strong message.

Early on, things did not look good for the Bills in this one. They immediately fell behind 7-0 after Bo Nix led Denver right down the field for a touchdown on the first drive of the game. Buffalo gradually worked its way back into the game, but their offense wasn’t particularly efficient in the first half.

That changed in the second half, with the offense scoring 21 points, and the defense pitching a shutout. Miller noted that while things may not have looked good for the Bills early on, they stuck to their game plan and listened to their leaders, and it helped them find their way to a victory.

“I’m always going to stay optimistic. It’s all I know. That’s the energy I brought today. I just have so much faith in our defensive coaches, and I know how the playoffs go. All the teams are good. They’re going to get some punches in. We’re going to get some punches in, too. We just got to make sure we got more points than them at the end of the day,” Miller said when discussing Buffalo’s win over Denver.

Expectations are high for the Bills this postseason, so to see them fall behind early and struggle against the Broncos wasn’t exactly encouraging. But as Miller details, the team stuck to their plan, and they came out on top, which should bode well for them as they attempt to make a deep run in the postseason.

This is particularly important for Buffalo, because things are about to get much more difficult for them. They are set to square off against the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round next, with the winner earning themselves a spot in the AFC Championship Game.
