BREAKING: Lamar Jackson Reveals Plans on Wearing Gloves Amid Freezing Temps in Buffalo.THANHDUNG

The Bills and Ravens will face off for a divsional round playoff game in Buffalo on Sunday afternoon, with the winner getting a crack at a chance at the Super Bowl. The last time the two teams faced each other with the stakes this high came in 2020, when the Bills bottled up Lamar Jackson and Baltimore en route to a 17-3 win and a trip to the AFC championship game.

The weather that day was, of course, cold. And it is predicted to be cold again this week, in the Ravens’ return trip to Buffalo with, again, a conference championship trip on the line.

The focus for the Bills will be on quarterback Jackson, who was limited to 162 yards passing and just 34 yards rushing on the day when the teams last met in the playoffs. With frigid temperatures ahead, Jackson was asked how he might handle the elements.

Gloves, he noted, are out of the question, the realm of former teammate Teddy Bridgewater.

“I tried that in practice, [and] I was horrible. I’ll leave that up to ‘Teddy two gloves,’ Teddy Bridgewater. Shoutout to Teddy,” Jackson told reporters.

Beyond that, Jackson said, it will be up to the equipment team to keep things warmed up.

“Hopefully, we’ll have some heaters on the sideline,” he said. “[I’ll have] a bigger jacket probably. I have to talk to [head equipment manager] Kenico [Hines] to see what he has going on. The equipment guys – they pretty much do a great job, so we should be good.”
