The Philadelphia Eagles are flying high after their latest playoff victory over the Los Angeles Rams. It was a snowy, madness-filled game, but the team in green reigned supreme.

During the win, the Eagles did suffer a notable injury in their secondary, though. Rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell suffered an injury that took him off the field.

The impressive rookie cornerback for Philly got good news following the game. He was forced out of the Divisional Round contest due to a noticeable shoulder injury.

According to reports, Mitchell avoided a significant shoulder injury and could play in the NFC Championship next weekend.

After the game, Mitchell was asked about his injury and status, too. The CB said that he’s “fine”.

Hopefully, Mitchell will be able to suit up for the Eagles’ next game. They face their division rival Washington Commanders with a chance to get to the Super Bowl. He has been a starter at CB all year for them.

Mitchell has been one of the most impactful defenders for Philadelphia this season, actually. Along with fellow rookie Cooper Dejean, they’ve injected the secondary with youth and energy that they have not possessed over the past couple of years.

If he cannot play against Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin, and co., the matchup gets a lot tougher for the Eagles.
