SAD NEWS: Mark Andrews’ girlfriend silences her social media after Ravens star abused for catastrophic fumble.THANHDUNG

Mark Andrews‘ girlfriend has had to silence comments on her social media after the Baltimore Ravens tight end’s blunder in the AFC Divisional game with the Buffalo Bills, that cost his side a run to the Super Bowl.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews (89)

Elena Yates, despite not being involved in the game at all, found herself subject to disgruntled fans after her partner fumbled in the end zone on a two point play, with the score at 27-25 as time ran out in the fourth quarter.

Pre-emptively, Yates changed her Instagram settings to ban vile comments to protect both herself and her 29-year-old boyfriend, who she has been dating since around the same time Taylor Swift got with Travis Kelce.

The fumble ultimately allowed the Bills to move on to the AFC Conference Championship game with the Kansas City Chiefs, and potentially handed Josh Allen the MVP award ahead of the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson.

Andrews had also failed to make a play in the first-quarter in an unusually uncharacteristic performance for him, although he still made 61 yards on five successful receptions at the Highmark Stadium.

Many will point to his performance as the reason why the Ravens didn’t manage to make it to the end of the season, but that’s now how their head coach sees it, as John Harbaugh rushed to the defense of his player.

“There’s nobody that has more heart, cares more, and fights more than Mark,” Harbaugh told reporters after the game. “We wouldn’t be here without Mark Andrews.

“Mark will handle it fantastically like he always does, because he’s a high-character person, a tough person and a good person. Proud of him like I’m proud of all the guys.”
