BREAKING NEWS: After a strong win, Buccaneers star Malik Nabers didn’t hesitate to criticize coach Brian Daboll for the team’s performance. Could this spell trouble for Daboll’s future at the Giants?.TS.THANHDUNG

While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers righted the ship in their blowout win, the New York Giants continued to sink further into irrelevancy. The Bucs walked out of MetLife Stadium with a 30-7 win under their belts while the Giants left their own stadium with some pissed off players throwing their head coach under the bus.

After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the New York Giants 30-7, rookie WR Malik Nabers called out his coaches in a postgame rant.

Giants rookie receiver Malik Nabers was not happy with the team’s performance in the blowout loss. Not only did he make it known that he didn’t get the ball until it was too late but he also made it a point to steer the blame away from Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito.

“It ain’t the quarterback. Same outcome when we had [Daniel Jones] at quarterback. Take a look. Take a look. It ain’t the quarterback. I don’t know, I don’t know what it is. Everybody knows better than me.”

Bucs blowout win looks to be last straw for Giants players

As I mentioned before, Nabers also called out the fact that he didn’t get the ball until it was 30-0 in favor of the Buccaneers. His first catch of the game didn’t come until early in the second half so that’s not quite true but the point remains that he wasn’t utilized enough (or that the Bucs did a good job covering him, let’s go with that one).

The Buccaneers needed a win to get their season back on track and luckily, they got the lowly Giants to beat up on. Not only did this loss show Giants fans that it’s not just the quarterback play that’s been dooming them, it’s been the coaching staff.

While the Bucs are on cloud nine after beating down the G-Men, Giants players will likely continue to sound off about their coaching staff and it’s almost a certainty that New York will be relieving their staff of their duties this offseason. Fortunately, the Bucs are in a much better spot and can just sit back and watch all of this unfold.
