San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle recently shared a heartfelt tribute to his father, Bruce Kittle, as he celebrated his 66th birthday.

In his Instagram message, George Kittle described his father as a wise figure, comparing him to Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings—a man full of knowledge who guides others without giving all the answers.

The post quickly gained attention, with many friends, family and fans joining in to wish Bruce Kittle a happy birthday. Among those who commented was Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“Happy bday big Bruce!!” Kelce wrote.

Other notable messages came from 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk and his wife, Kristin Juszczyk, who praised Bruce Kittle’s youthful spirit and kindness.

“Happy birthday coach!” Kyle Juszczyk wrote.

“He’s aging backwards!!! Happy birthday to our binocular king!!!!” said Kristin Juszczyk.

According to USA Today, Kelce and George Kittle’s friendship goes back to 2018 when the 49ers tight end was entering his second NFL season.

Their friendship grew stronger after Kelce traded jerseys with George Kittle, marking a significant moment for the younger player.
