Tom Brady got the better of Patrick Mahomes twice in the NFL playoffs.
The first came in 2019 when his New England Patriots beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 37-31, in the AFC Championship game.
Brady put heir apparent Patrick Mahomes and the upstart Chiefs in their place behind two clutch, crunch-time drives that saw the Patriots just about edge the overtime shootout en route to ring No. 6.
After the game, TB12 posted a video of himself smirking alongside teammate Rob Gronkowski as the pair walked with matching struts while reveling in their victory.
‘Bad Boy for Life’ played in the background, with Brady and Gronk smirking at the apt ‘we ain’t going nowhere’ lyrics.
It was a pretty savage move from the legendary quarterback, and a kindly reminder that both he and his Pats still had plenty left in the tank.
The video recently resurfaced on social media, with people praising the NFL GOAT for talking smack without actually saying a word.
Brady himself also retweeted the video, writing: “What a time”.
“I miss the Brady W posts, pats dynasty was lightning in a bottle,” wrote one fan.
“Iconic”, said another.
