The Buffalo Bills were all smiles in the locker room after they defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round on Sunday night.
And for Josh Allen, he couldn’t contain his excitement.
Head coach Sean McDermott was delivering his postgame speech to the team in the locker room after the big win, and Allen along with the rest of the players listened attentively.
However, for the Bills quarterback, he had his hands up ready to clap and cheer on both his coach and team.
But, he got a little too overexcited, clapping before McDermott was done speaking.
That elicited a loud laugh from the others in the locker room.
How can you not like Allen after watching this?
Allen finished the night going 16-of-22 for 127 passing yards, along with 10 carries for 20 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. His efforts helped the Bills hold on, defeating the Ravens 27-25.
Allen advances to the second conference title game of his career. Now, it’s the Kansas City Chiefs that stand in his way.
“We’re going to work hard. We’re going to have a heck of a week. We’ll enjoy this one tonight, and turn our attention tomorrow. We know who they are. They’re the perennial of what you want to be in the NFL. You’ve got to beat them to get pass them,” Allen said after the win.
In Allen’s first AFC Championship, the game came down to the final 13 seconds. Ultimately, the Chiefs came out on top and advanced to the Super Bowl. But Buffalo has already defeated Kansas City once this year, so they know they can do it.
Plus, if they come away with the win, there could be more funny Allen moments like this one from the locker room.
