The L.A. wildfires that ripped through California have taken away people’s homes and businesses, leaving utter devastation in their wake.
The fires were so out of control that it took days for them to be contained, and we don’t have to look too far to see how much damage they have done to the state.
With the Pittsburgh Steelers now in the midst of their offseason, Russell Wilson and his family made a trip to Los Angeles and tried their hand at giving back to all the victims that were impacted by the fires.
In a video posted to Ciara, Russell’s wife’s Instagram, the pair, along with their children, were seen helping package up donations to give to the victims of the fires as they tried to help those impacted start to rebuild what was torn down by the fires.
Ciara’s video had a caption which read:
“Our hearts are full seeing our kids prepare kits for babies & families from the wild fires in LA on MLK Day. MLK once said, “The time is always right to do what is right.” We are forever grateful for @Baby2Baby during these difficult times of tremendous loss, devastation, & pain. Every prayer, helping hand, and resource can make a positive impact. We are praying for everyone that has suffered during this time. We are in this together. 🫶🏽”
The clean-up efforts are likely to take weeks and possibly months, and with so much devastation, it can be hard to fathom.
