UPDATE: Zay Flowers Not Attending Pro Bowl Due to Injury.THANHDUNG

Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers won’t be attending his first Pro Bowl after all, as he is unable to participate because of injury.

Flowers, who is the Ravens’ first Pro Bowl wide receiver, will be replaced by Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.

Flowers missed both Ravens playoff games with a knee injury suffered in the regular-season finale.

On Wednesday, Head Coach John Harbaugh said Flowers had a “great chance” to play in the AFC Championship game if the Ravens made it, but also didn’t rule out an offseason procedure.

“[He] should be fine going forward,” Harbaugh said. “I don’t think it’s going to be a surgery in the end, but they haven’t determined that for sure yet. If they do it, they’ll probably just do it to kind of just be sure.”

Flowers led the Ravens this season with 1,059 receiving yards and 74 receptions. The second-year wideout has quickly become one of the elite players at his position in the league.

Thomas finished third in the NFL in receiving yards (1,282). He made 87 catches and had 10 touchdowns.
