NFL gives Texans player news he doesn’t want to hear which could end his time in Houston on a negative note-HN

The Houston Texans weren’t able to take down the back-to-back Super Bowl Champion Kans City Chiefs.

Their season came to an end in the Divisional round, and after a sideline confrontation, it might be the end of one player’s time in Houston. And the NFL had more bad news for the player as they head into the offseason.

The NFL announced they are fining Texans defensive back Kris Boyd $8,056.00. This fine comes for Boyd choosing to throw his helmet in frustration after the game’s opening kickoff. His frustration didn’t end there as Boyd shoved special teams coordinator Frank Ross on the sideline.

Boyd was one of 10 players to be fined from the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs. His $8,056.00 fine was the second cheapest of the week. Boyd is set to hit free agency this offseason, and after his poor decision to shove a coach, many have predicted his time in Houston could be coming to an end. So this fine could very well be his last memory as a Texan, which could end his time with the team on an even more negative note than was already expected.
