BREAKING: Ravens Star Receives Massive Fine for Unflagged Hit on Josh Allen.THANHDUNG

The Divisional Round matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens was certainly entertaining, which ended with Buffalo walking away with the 27-25 win.

For the Bills, that meant they had a matchup set with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, but for the Ravens, it meant their season was over.

Unfortunately, for Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey, it wouldn’t be the only bad news of the week after the NFL hit him with a fine worth $45,020 for unnecessary roughness.

It stems from a play where Humphrey was helping bring down Bills quarterback Josh Allen, but apparent helmet-to-helmet contact was initiated.

It’s an interesting decision because as Tom Pelissero of NFL Network mentioned, no flag was thrown on the play.

Luckily, though, for the sake of both Allen and Humphrey, neither sustained any injuries from the play, as it occurred during the second quarter, and both finished the rest of the game.

It’s also an unfortunate way to cap off the end of Humphrey’s very impressive season, which included being named to the Pro Bowl and earning First-Team All-Pro honors.

The fine might not hurt his pockets too much, though, as he is entering the fourth year of the five-year $97.5 million extension he signed with Baltimore in 2020.

Through eight completed seasons, Spotrac also places Humphrey’s career earnings at $82.9 million.
