Brandon Beane squashes a swirling rumor about Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen that’s simply not true…tn

Josh Allen did everything he could to topple the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, but it wasn’t enough. Still, he finished 22/34 passing for 237 yards and two touchdowns, with an additional 39 tough rushing yards on the ground. He had zero turnovers, and played as gritty and determined as we’ve ever seen.

Josh Allen

There are rumors making the rounds that Allen broke his right hand on a run right before halftime. At multiple times in Brandon Beane’s end of season exit media availability, he addressed Allen’s hand injury, putting to bed the rumors that are out there.

At first, Beane was asked about the hand injury and how much it may have affected Allen in the second half of the game.

“You’d have to ask Josh how much it affected him. That would be unfair for me to say. In my exit conversation with him, that didn’t come up,” Beane answered.

When asked specifically if Josh broke his hand, it was an emphatic “no,” multiple times.

No. No he didn’t.

Injuries are always a hot topic, and we definitely know that Allen was dealing with a left hand injury throughout most of the season since he sustained a hit in the season opener against the Arizona Cardinals.

Heading into the offseason, the Bills are in pretty good shape from a health standpoint. Later in his media availability, Beane was asked if there were any substantial injuries to be dealt with now that the season is over, and his response shed light on the fact that there are a few things to be dealt with, but nobody’s injuries are severe enough that training camp availability is in question. In terms of health and consistency, it looks like the Bills will be largely set up to pick up where they left off when training camp return in the summer.
