World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has officially entered the digital world by creating his own YouTube channel. The Italian stated that the purpose of launching this social media platform is to showcase more of his personality and reveal his lighter side to the audience.

While many people are excited about the news, one person did not hesitate to respond. Nick Kyrgios took the opportunity to bring up Sinner’s infamous doping scandal once again. When the news of the Italian ace’s YouTube channel surfaced, the Australian couldn’t help but remind Sinner of the controversy.

Kyrgios and Sinner’s relationship has changed over the past 12 months. Just last year, during the Australian Open final, the 2022 Wimbledon runner-up praised Sinner’s outstanding performance and even asked him for tips on winning a Grand Slam.

However, things took a turn after Sinner’s doping scandal became public in August. The 23-year-old tested positive twice for clostebol, a banned substance, in March at Indian Wells. As a result, he lost all the ranking points and prize money from that Masters 1000 event.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal hold the record for the most Grand Slam title defenses. Jannik Sinner joined this elite group by defending his Australian Open title in 2025. Gustavo Kuerten won his first French Open in 1997. He then secured back-to-back titles in 2000 and 2001.

Andre Agassi won his sixth Grand Slam at the 2000 Australian Open. He defeated Yevgeny Kafelnikov in the final. The next year, he defended his title by beating Arnaud Clement. This was the only time he successfully defended a major title.

Federer defended Grand Slam titles ten times. He defended Wimbledon four times and the US Open four times. He also defended two of his Australian Open titles. Nadal defended Grand Slam titles ten times as well. All of them were at the French Open, the most at a single event.

Novak Djokovic has defended Grand Slam titles nine times. He did so five times at the Australian Open and four times at Wimbledon. Carlos Alcaraz won Wimbledon in 2023 and defended his title in 2024. He beat Djokovic both times.
