The Pittsburgh Steelers met with Arizona running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt at the Shrine Bowl, Ryan Fowler of the Draft Network reports.

Along with the Steelers, Croskey-Merritt met with the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers.

Croskey-Merritt missed nearly his entire last season in Arizona due to eligibility issues. However, he dominated at three different levels throughout his career, starting at Alabama State, then transferring to New Mexico, and finally ending up at Arizona.

Despite playing just one game this past season, Croskey-Merritt dominated New Mexico in that one game, amassing 106 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown.

Croskey-Merritt shined at the Shrine Bowl last week, showing out in the game with 11 rushes for 97 yards. That earned him honors, and it seems that the running back turned heads and could be rising up some draft boards

The Steelers could use a running back with Najee Harris set to hit free agency. Running back Jaylen Warren is also a restricted free agent.
