BREAKING: Ravens’ Safety Kyle Hamilton Believes Team Is Ready Now.THANHDUNG

This past season for the Ravens’ safety ended on an all-too-familiar note.

Adding Derrick Henry on the other side helped. However, it seemingly only added a mental edge— an edge that did not translate into further postseason success.

Coach John Harbaugh is naturally front and center of the blame. Some Baltimore faithful would like to see upgrades at certain position groups.

But one key team member doesn’t want to hear about any trades or free-agent acquisitions. Instead, he believes the roster is good enough to win it all as is.

NFL players are currently adjusting to the full swing of the NFL offseason. But Ravens’ safety, Kyle Hamilton, shared his thoughts during ‘The Mina Kimes Show.‘ His interactions with Puka Nacua caught a lot of people’s attention. More importantly, the 23-year-old shared his viewpoint on the upcoming offseason for his current team during the podcast:

“I’ve had so many people ask me what the Ravens are missing. I’m like, literally nothing. We have everything you want to win a championship,” Hamilton said.

The former Notre Dame standout appears adamant about his team’s chances. And many would agree that Baltimore has plenty of talent to be a legitimate Super Bowl threat.

Unfortunately for him, the issue isn’t a lack of talent. Instead, this franchise repeatedly finds ways to come up short. Painfully, the cause of their untimely playoff exits usually has more to do with their own mistakes than with how good the play on the other side of the field is.

That’s not to diminish the Bills’ and past winners’ performances against this Ravens team. But this fanbase has often been left frustrated and thinking ‘what if’ after tough postseason losses.

Analyzing Claim by the Ravens’ Safety

Teams are good come the playoffs.

Avoiding self-inflicting wounds is a must. Unfortunately, Coach Harbaugh has often outthought the room in key moments. Conversely, a bad play at the most inopportune time appears to always be at the forefront of disappointing reflection following the season.

Regardless, the Ravens’ safety is correct in his response to skeptics. This Baltimore team has plenty of talent on offense and defense. They have enough pieces to get to a Super Bowl. Furthermore, this group is good enough to be true annual contenders for years to come.

The Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry duo can present every defense with issues when utilized properly. Unfortunately, this year too much post-game talk centered around not using their bell cow running back enough when they needed it most.

Additionally, Mark Andrews had a rough game himself. But either way, the main commonality is Coach Harbaugh throughout all of these shortcomings. Many in the fanbase appreciate what he’s done for the franchise but grow tired of having identical conversations time and time again.

They and Steeler Nation are too far apart in that aspect. This conversation with the Ravens’ safety suggests that the same frustrations are boiling in the locker room as well.

Kyle Hamilton is correct in one sense. Baltimore doesn’t need a major talent upgrade. But the main reason onlookers would be skeptical about this team winning it all remains in the building.
