Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, spoiling a dynasty under Patrick Mahomes.

The Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22, avenging their Super Bowl LVII loss to Kansas City where Philadelphia fell 38-35.

After a successful season for the Eagles, Hurts and company took to the streets of Philadelphia for the team parade.

The NFL highlighted a couple of the Eagles’ biggest stars during the parade, including a photo of Hurts that had a strong declaration in the caption.

“The King of Philly,” the NFL captioned the post.

Hurts earned the Super Bowl MVP for his performance against the Chiefs. The Eagles star posted two touchdowns and 221 yards, completing 17-of-22 pass attempts.

He also added one touchdown and 72 yards on the ground, serving as the team’s leading rusher.

The Eagles star has put on a show throughout the postseason, leading Philadelphia to wins over the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, Washington Commanders and Kansas City Chiefs.

Hurts originally joined the Eagles organization after being selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He has since led the Eagles to six playoff victories including two trips to the Super Bowl.
