UPDATE: Baltimore Ravens Could Make $6.2 Million Decision to Bolster Secondary.THANHDUNG

The Baltimore Ravens had a promising 2024 season, finishing strong with a 12-5 record and making it to the AFC Divisional Playoffs.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson continued to shine, throwing for over 4,000 yards and 40 touchdowns while running back Derrick Henry added 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns to the offense.

Despite their strong performance, the Ravens fell short in the playoffs, losing to the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round.

As the Ravens look to improve for the upcoming season, bolstering their secondary is a top priority.

The team struggled with injuries and inconsistent play in the defensive backfield, and addressing this area could be crucial for their success in 2025.

According to Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox, one potential target for the Ravens is Los Angeles Chargers’ safety Elijah Molden.

Molden had a breakout season in 2024, registering 75 total tackles, three interceptions, and seven passes defended over 15 appearances.

His versatility to play cornerback, nickel, and safety makes him an attractive option for the Ravens.

Molden’s last season with the Chargers showcased his ability to make an impact on the field. He allowed an impressive 44.8 passer rating in coverage and made 17 total defensive stops.

His performance has caught the attention of several teams, and the Ravens could benefit from his skill set and experience.

Signing Molden would be a significant investment, with projections suggesting a three-year, $18.7 million deal.

However, the Ravens have the cap space to make this move and could see it as a worthwhile investment to strengthen their secondary and improve their chances of making a deeper playoff run.

The club has a clear path to bolster their secondary by potentially signing Molden.
