BREAKING: Commanders expected to poach Baltimore Ravens $112.8 million first round All-Pro staple.THANHDUNG

The Washington Commanders are suddenly a legitimate contender in the NFC.

Now heading into the offseason ahead of the 2025 — with the third-most cap space available of any NFC team — the Commanders brass is looking to add as much talent as possible to capitalize on the three-year window with Jayden Daniels playing on his rookie contract.

In 2024, the Commanders were able to reach the NFC Championship game with a roster pieced together last offseason, with many of the core players playing on one-year deals. So now, GM Adam Peters has to work alongside head coach Dan Quinn to decide which players from the 2024 squad they want to re-sign and which ones they want to let walk.

Either way, Washington has now become a top destination for the top free agents in the NFL and players seeking to leave their current situation to join a contender.

So far, the Commanders have been linked to big names like Myles Garrett and Cooper Kupp. While there’s no question an elite WR opposite of Terry McLaurin and a dominant pass rusher are high priorities for Washington this offseason, this is a team that could use upgrades at nearly every position that’s isn’t quarterback.

The Commanders attempted to upgrade at cornerback by trading for Marshon Lattimore during the season, the former Saints CB was injured when he arrived in D.C. and struggled in the limited action he saw the field.

As of now, it shouldn’t be a surprise if the Commanders pull off a big trade or two, and also sign new talent in free agency.

Bleacher Reports believes Washington is going to sign Baltimore Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley to a two-year deal worth $45 million.
