1. Amari Cooper — WR, Buffalo Bills

Dallas needs another wide receiver, and an Amari Cooper reunion could be in order next month. Cooper struggled with drops in 2024, but he’s still only 30 and has been a reliable option for multiple seasons in multiple places. He would provide Dallas with some familiarity at a second-tier price point for wide receiver help.

2. Stefon Diggs — WR, Houston Texans

If an Amari Cooper reunion doesn’t work out for the Cowboys, Stefon Diggs is another option in that second-tier price range for wide receiver help. Diggs’ season in Houston ended with an ACL tear, but he was working a steady presence for Houston, dropping less than 10 percent of catchable passes before he went down. At 31, Diggs’ situation could force him to sign a one-year prove-it deal, allowing Dallas to land him for somewhere in the $14-17 million range. It would also be a fun brotherly reunion between Stefon and Trevon.

3. Ronnie Stanley — T, Baltimore Ravens

If Ronnie Stanley hits free agency, he should be somewhere near the top of Jerry Jones’ wishlist. Staley returned to form in 2024, posting a 79.6 PFF pass-blocking grade through the first 12 weeks of the season. Stanley will be 31 next season, but a short-term, higher AAV deal could be a perfect bridge solution for Dallas at tackle.

4. Najee Harris — RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Dallas will likely be in the market for a running back, and Najee Harris is probably the best long-term solution for the position in this free-agency class. Harris will be 27 next season and is coming off of a solid four-season run in Pittsburgh in which he rushed for 4,316 yards (fifth most during that time) and is excellent after contact, racking up 3,203 yards after contact (fourth most during that time). If Dallas prefers a shorter-term, cheaper addition at running back, Nick Chubb and J.K. Dobbins will also be available.

5. Josh Sweat — EDGE, Philadelphia Eagles

If Dallas is in the market for pass-rushing help, Josh Sweat is a long-term option at 28 years old that could help Dallas bolster their pass rush and serve as a long-term building block for that unit. It would also be a win for the Cowboys to snag Sweat from their division rival in Philadelphia. Sweat was a steady producer in Philadelphia under multiple defensive coordinators and was a wrecking ball f
