Charles Omenihu warns the entire NFL: Patrick Mahomes will explode and burn every opponent in the 2025 season!

It’s no secret that the 2024 NFL season didn’t end the way that Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs had hoped for. Despite the offense being quite the rollercoaster throughout the year, Mahomes and the Chiefs found themselves one win away from making history by pulling off the first-ever three-peat in Super Bowl history.

Unfortunately, the Chiefs fell short, getting blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59. The loss could have marked Charles Omenihu’s final game with the Chiefs, as the six-year NFL vet is hitting free agency next month.

Chiefs' pending free agent Charles Omenihu expects Patrick Mahomes to go on 'revenge tour' in 2025 after Super Bowl LIX failure

Omenihu appeared on Up & Adams to discuss free agency and the Super Bowl loss and said that he believes this loss will fuel Mahomes. Kay Adams asked Omenihu what he thought Mahomes be like over the next 10 months to which the soon-to-be free agent replied, “On a revenge tour.”

“Just extreme focus. Taking even more control,” Omenihu said when asked to expand on his revenge tour comment. “He probably feels like he didn’t have his best performance. And him being who he is and being the best quarterback in the league, he wants to come back and, you know, have one of those big seasons.”

Nobody would be surprised if what Omenihu said ended up panning out. After all, when the Chiefs failed to make the Super Bowl during the 2022 playoffs, Mahomes went on to win the MVP later that year and lead the Chiefs to their second Super Bowl win in four years. The next year, he and the Chiefs got back despite a down year from the offense and won a third title in five years.

Mahomes always tends to bounce back stronger and Chiefs fans are hoping that one good thing can come from the Super Bowl 59 loss. If that loss is what it took to fuel Mahomes and get K.C. to a bunch of Super Bowls over the next few years, then so be it. Sacrifices had to be made, I guess.
