Vikings legend John Randle shares great idea to make Packers fans furious..ANHTRUC.

The Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers may share a border between their two states but fans of the two teams don’t typically share much love for the other franchise. Rivalries in the NFL can be brutal and the contention between these two teams makes for great storylines every year.

Each season, the Vikings and Packers are guaranteed to meet each other twice because they are both in the NFC North. Those games have a little more at stake since bragging rights for those living in Minnesota and Wisconsin are on the line.

Distaste for the opposing team isn’t just something for the fans. Players from both franchises have not hesitated to voice their dislike for the other squad. That includes Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive tackle John Randle.

The former Minnesota Vikings defender is vocal about his distaste for anything to do with the Packers. Randle was a recent guest on SKOR North’s Purple Daily and he had an idea that would make cheeseheads furious.

“That other damn team, not too damn far from here, I don’t like talking about it. I don’t like mentioning their damn name. And I sit around Leroy Butler, I’ve sat around Frank Winters and all them dudes man, I’m like, dude, we gonna get ours. When we get ours, I’m gonna have a parade in y’all town. What? I said, I’m gonna have a parade in y’all town. I’m gonna bring it right here.”

Of course, this would mean the Minnesota Vikings must win the Super Bowl. If that does happen, expect John Randle to lead parades and parties to celebrate the first Lombardi trophy for the purple and gold.

While having a Vikings parade in Green Bay would be quite disrespectful, many fans of Minnesota would love the idea. Packers fans are always quick to rub Super Bowl wins in their faces, so it would be nice to be able to do that for once.

“…And we gonna go to Lombardi’s restaurant. We’re gonna be eating with the trophy. Yeah, that’s right! That’s right!”

Taking the trophy to Vince Lombardi’s Steakhouse in Appleton, Wisconsin is taking it to another level. Having the Lombardi in Lombardi’s while celebrating the Vikings would definitely add another level of impoliteness to the situation.

John Randle has a ton of energy and used it to earn a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. However, his focus and desire for the Minnesota Vikings to finally win a Super Bowl is a magnitude of intensity that few people reach.
