Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has officially had enough of the Philadelphia Eagles’ infamous “Tush Push” play—and he’s making sure the NFL puts an end to it for good. In a shocking power move, Reid has gathered enough signatures from 31 teams to force the league to permanently ban what he calls “the cheapest play in football.” And he’s not holding back.

“It’s only because of this play that the Eagles even made it as far as they did,” Reid reportedly said in a private meeting with NFL executives. “Take away that nonsense, and they don’t win that Super Bowl. Period.”

Reid, whose Chiefs defeated the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, has been vocal about his disdain for the play, but now he’s taken matters into his own hands. With overwhelming support from nearly every team in the league, the proposal to outlaw the “Tush Push” is expected to pass with ease. “Everyone knows it’s not real football,” one anonymous NFL coach stated. “It’s a legal glitch they’ve been exploiting, and Andy finally called them out on it.”

The Eagles have turned the play into an unstoppable short-yardage weapon, relying on their offensive line to shove Jalen Hurts forward for easy first downs. But Reid and other coaches argue that it’s nothing more than a loophole being abused. “We have quarterbacks out here making incredible throws, receivers making acrobatic catches, and these guys are just bulldozing forward like a high school rugby team,” Reid scoffed.

They just can’t stop us, so now they want it banned.” But that argument isn’t flying with the rest of the league. “That’s like saying if holding wasn’t a penalty, everyone should just hold every play. It’s ridiculous,” one AFC executive said.

With Reid leading the charge and nearly every team backing him, the death of the “Tush Push” seems all but guaranteed. And while Eagles fans will cry foul, the rest of the NFL is celebrating. “They’re about to find out real quick how much that play covered up their flaws,” a rival NFC coach smirked.
