“I think the fans here tonight, even the Magic fans, they know they’re witnessing the greatest shooter ever, and one of the greatest performers ever,” Kerr said during the post-game press conference, shared by the official NBA account on X.
The Warriors’ head coach, as well as the general public, remained in awe of Curry’s remarkable performance. In his 34 minutes on the court, the 36-year-old guard dominated the game, scoring 56 points, making 12 three-pointers, and posting a 63.2% shooting efficiency from beyond the arc.
“It’s his 26th game with 10 or more threes, so we’re spoiled around here, and we’re used to it, but it never gets old watching, I can tell you that,” Kerr remarked about the milestone, reinforcing his belief that Curry is the best shooter in NBA history.

After the 56-point performance vs. Magic, Curry revealed his feelings. “I knew about the 50-point thing, which is a cool honor,” he said in an interview with Warriors Postgame Live. “Just scoring the basketball—I love to do it. I love having nights like these, and I just want to soak it all in.”
