NFL Scouting Combine 2025: Kansas City Chiefs Officially Meet And Evaluate Oregon’s OL In Plan To Strengthen Offensive Line.

According to Ryan Linkletter of Blitz Sports Media, the Kansas City Chiefs had a “formal meeting” with Oregon OL Josh Conerly Jr. this week at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kansas City has a noticeable issue on the offensive line, especially after the performance in Super Bowl LIX. Multiple starters have been at the left tackle position without consistent success. All-Pro guard Joe Thuney was forced to play out of position late in the year to patch the problem temporarily.

He started all 14 games at left tackle, displaying consistency and availability. Conley Jr. ended the year with honors, including Third-team Associated Press All-American and first-team All-Big Ten. He was also a finalist for the Joe Moore Award presented to the nation’s top offensive lineman.

At 6 feet 4 inches and 315 pounds, Conley Jr. started his last two seasons at left tackle. His performance against Penn State’s Abdul Carter, who is projected to be drafted in April, has considerably raised his stock. The Chiefs seek answers at left tackle, and the Oregon standout could fit the system.
