The NFL’s quarterback market in free agency is soon set to shake up a couple of rosters around the league.
Some of the top names on the quarterback market include Aaron Rodgers, Daniel Jones, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields
Jones is coming off his first year with the Minnesota Vikings after signing with the NFC franchise in the latter half of last season. Before taking his talents to Minnesota, Jones was inked to a four-year, $160 million contract with the Giants.
As he enters free agency, looking to make an impact after sitting behind Sam Darnold in 2024, a recent free agency prediction by Zack Rosenblatt at The Athletic, links Jones with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Rosenblatt predicts the Steelers will sign Jones and draft Louisville Cardinals quarterback prospect Tyler Shough to work alongside him in the QB room.

During his time with the Giants last season, Jones posted eight touchdowns and 2,070 yards with a 63.3 completion percentage. After Jones’ struggles, New York also gave some burn to Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito.
The Steelers had a hectic quarterback room last season. Justin Fields served as the team’s starter until Week 7 when Russell Wilson took over.
Wilson was sidelined at the beginning of the year while nursing a calf injury.
Pittsburgh finished the season with a 10-8 record, including a 28-14 Wild Card Round loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
