PHILADELPHIA — It’s no secret Philadelphia sports fans are intense.
And according to a new analysis of MLB fans, Philadelphia Phillies fans are among the most aggressive.
Casino.org conducted a nationwide study of 4,000 MLB fans, asking about their sportsmanship behaviors, to identify the most ruthless and kindest fan bases in the league.

They examined ruthless factors like booing frequency, injury cheering, lack of empathy, and more.
Upon looking at those factors, Phillies fans were ranked No. 4 for being ruthless. Phils fans also earned an “aggression score” of 93.1/100 in the survey.

Phillies fans rank No. 1 for booing opposing teams the most in the league, and 66 percent of fans don’t empathize with the other team’s loss
Additionally, 52 percent of Phillies fans don’t regret any of their unsportsmanlike behaviors, while 37 percent regularly engage in such actions, the study found.
When fans were asked which other fans were the most aggressive, Phillies fans came in at No. 3, behind Yankees and Red Sox fans, respectively.
Minnesota Twins fans were ranked the kindest in the league, with a low aggression score of 1.1/100.
