Davante Adams will not be rejoining the Green Bay Packers, as the standout receiver has secured a contract with the Los Angeles Rams. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Adams has inked a two-year agreement valued at $46 million, with $26 million guaranteed.
A six-time Pro Bowl selection, Adams had spent eight seasons with the Packers before his trade to the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of the 2022 season and had a stint with the New York Jets in part of 2024.
After recently parting ways with the Jets, Adams is anticipated to step in for seasoned receiver Cooper Kupp and collaborate with Puka Nacua to create a formidable passing game with quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Betting experts in Las Vegas had considered a Packers-Adams reunion a strong possibility, but the seasoned receiver opted to play in his home state instead. Adams has recorded over 1,000 receiving yards in six of his last seven seasons.
Last year, he caught 85 passes for 1,083 yards and scored eight touchdowns across 14 games with the Raiders and Jets.
