Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs are still processing the loss in the Super Bowl against the Eagles. The good news is that, after taking a few days to think about his future, Travis Kelce has confirmed that he is not retiring.
Many experts pointed out before the game that a victory for Kelce would have meant going out at the top and focusing on a new stage of his personal life with Taylor Swift.
However, the loss has made the tight end want to play another season with Patrick Mahomes, seeking redemption and that elusive championship. Once again, his girlfriend will be there to support him.
What happened with Taylor Swift in the Super Bowl?
Taylor Swift was booed by Eagles fans during the Super Bowl when the star was focused on by the television cameras and appeared on the giant screens at the Superdome in New Orleans.
Now, during an interview with Mike Florio, Andy Reid sent a very special message to the singer. The head coach of the Chiefs recognized the way she handled the embarrassing situation.
“She’s a good girl. She handles that whole thing the right way. I mean, that’s a tough deal. She does a great job with handling it. Kelce does a great job at handling it. She’s part of the team like the other girlfriends and wives. They’re part of it. That’s all part of the process.”
