Buffalo Bills and Reid Ferguson reached a contract extension agreement, strengthening a key position in the lineup.

The longstanding long-snapper for the Buffalo Bills is remaining with the team.

Long snapper Reid Ferguson has signed an extension with the team. Ferguson, soon 31 years old, has inked a four-year extension.

90 Buffalo Bills players in 90 days: Long snapper Reid Ferguson - Buffalo Rumblings

The team announced the contract on Sunday, one day prior to the start of the NFL’s free agency period.

Not only does Ferguson remain with the team following his contract extension, he also continues his honor of being the longest-tenured player on the roster. Ferguson was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of LSU in 2016.

Ferguson has played in every regular season game for the last eight seasons and added 13 postseason games.

Ferguson’s relationship with kickers Tyler Bass and Sam Martin likely played a role in his extension.

In addition, Ferguson must have gotten the Chris Tabor seal of approval. Tabor was recently hired as Buffalo’s new special teams coordinator.

Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 offseason.
