Warriors Make Unfortunate Stephen Curry Announcement Before Nuggets Game…TS.DHUNG.

Stephen Curry’s brilliance has been massive as the Golden State Warriors have injected new life into their season.

Jimmy Butler’s arrival in the Bay Area at the trade deadline opened everything up for the squad, and Curry has taken that opportunity and ascended his play to an MVP level.

Recently, the Davidson product and NBA legend turned 37-years-old. While his output might remain superb, there is a certain level of acknowledgement as it comes to his age.

Curry, himself, hasn’t been shy about the matter. He’s accepted and embraced that the end could be near. In the meantime, however, he’s going to give everything he has to the sport and to the club.

The team has been on a tear as of late, winning seven straight games and improving to a 39-28 record as the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference.

Evidently, the high production and hefty minutes being played by Curry take a toll on his body — as it does for most players — and he’s feeling the repercussions of such as of late.

Prior to Golden State’s upcoming matchup against the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic, the club has announced that Curry is questionable.

The Athletic’s Anthony Slater reported such, mentioning he has been wearing a heat pad on his lower back as of late.

“Steph Curry is questionable vs Nuggets tomorrow night with a lower back strain. He’s had a heat pack on it during the last couple games. Warriors face Bucks on Tuesday. Quinten Post also questionable with ankle soreness,” Slater reported on X.

While an injury to Curry is brutal, especially as the club is finding its stride at the right time, the Warriors would ultimately want to have their superstar healthy come playoff time.

Should Curry miss the game, Golden State will become reliant on Jimmy Butler and the rest of the squad to step up and play as a unit to make up for the superstar guard being sidelined.

As Slater mentioned, the Warriors have a back-to-back, taking on the Milwaukee Bucks just one night after playing the Nuggets.
