If the Pittsburgh Steelers were thinking about going the trade route for someone like the New England Patriots’ Joe Milton, it might be more expensive than originally thought. Milton, in any trade scenario, will cost a third-round pick according to Tony Grossi.
“One drawback would be the cost. Sources closer to the situation than me expect the asking price of the Patriots to be a third-round pick,” Grossi writes.

The Patriots signed Josh Dobbs, and are now reportedly floating their second-year quarterback, Milton, out there in trade talks.
Milton came out of Tennessee as a strong-armed, but raw quarterback. In his one game of playing time with the Patriots, he impressed, throwing for 241 yards and one touchdown while completing 75.9 percent of his passes.
The guess for Milton’s market would just be a wild guess, especially at that price, but the quarterback options on the market are either veterans like Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers or unproven young players with upside. So, Milton could pair with one of the veterans.
